Hi folks,
To borrow line from BT, “Boy oh boy, wow Wee!”
Our girls last night were terrific eventually defeating Adelaide High in a marathon match which lasted 2 hours. You can all be very proud of the girls who were pushed to play their very best by a strong opposition. They have overcome illness and injury, even sustaining injuries to girls during the game.
It just meant that others had to step up and assume new roles, be brave, take risks…sure there’s reference to growth mindset somewhere in there.
The ladies won the gold medal match elated.
A huge thank you to all the staff and students who went along to support the team.
Your noise, support and being there meant loads to the girls.
They ran out to the foyer before the game to tell me they couldn’t believe how many people were there to cheer for them
Issy was awarded the MVP award by the referee and opposition coach to top off and exciting evening. Congratulations.
Thank you all so much. A brilliant end to a rewarding season.

Week 1 next term and of course the big dance in Melbourne in December.
